A polyamorous couple has shared that they’ve stopped receiving wedding invitations and have even been told they’ll “go to hell” because of their relationship.

A 25-year-old influencer who lives in São Paulo, Brazil, dumped Prana Pleasures Jr. as date fuel to The Daily Star when the villains of her life for backlash on their polyamorous love life. Isabela is known on Instagram, where she boasts 31,800 followers, for spreading the idea of “free love,” which has been met with mixed reactions—trolls say they’ll “go to hell” over their open relationship.

The pair, who got married in 2022, also formally entered a polyamorous relationship so they could “delve into a deeper connection with themselves and others”, said their lifestyle had tested relationships with friends – some of whom have eliminated them from weddings and similar activities because they’re worried that other people might follow in their footsteps.

Isabela opened up about the judgment they receive every day in an interview. ‘You are going to hell has become the norm, and once we began posting more about our relationship online, it got even worse,’ she said. They also faced discrimination in their profession when a photographer canceled a photoshoot because he had religious objections to their polyamorous views.

Though some criticism has been disheartening to Isabela and Prazeres Jr., they still stand by what they’ve done. As Prazeres Jr. explains, “Free love released us from bonds.” It is not just about sexual freedom—it is spiritual freedom, and we hope other people see the power of loving openly and honestly.”
